Same-dayThe ice maker had iced up solid and was dripping water down into the fresh-food drawers — a common Samsung complaint. The assembly and its defrost had failed, so it kept refreezing instead of cycling. We fitted a new ice-maker assembly, cleared the ice, and ran it through a few cycles to confirm it was making and dropping ice cleanly.

Next dayOn the spin cycle the drum was making a loud grinding roar, and clothes were coming out heavy with water. The rear drum bearings and seal had worn right out. We stripped the drum down, fitted new bearings and a seal, and ran a spin test to confirm it was quiet and pulling the water out properly again.

Same-dayOne induction zone would start up, then shut itself off after a minute or two, while the others worked fine. The element's coil and its sensor had failed, tripping the safety cut-out. We replaced the faulty element, checked the board for related errors, and cooked off a test to confirm it held a steady heat.
