Same-dayThe pump was straining but nothing drained. We pulled the pump filter and found it packed with the mineral scale Regina's hard water leaves behind — enough to block flow completely. Cleared the filter, flushed the drain line, and ran two full cycles to confirm it drained clean before we left.

Next dayThe fresh-food side had crept up to about 10 °C even though the freezer was still solid — a classic sign air isn't moving between the two compartments. We traced it to a failed evaporator fan motor and fitted a genuine Whirlpool replacement. Temperatures were back down to a safe 3 °C by the time we finished testing.

Same-dayThe dryer was tumbling but barely warming, so a full load was still wet at the end of the cycle. The vent had iced up and packed with lint where it meets the cold exterior wall, and the heating element was worn out on top of that. We cleared the run, replaced the element, and confirmed a full, hot dry before signing off.
